About Us

Ajman Marine Services was established as a ship brokering company in the year 1984. The company was founded by two brothers Captain Wilfred Jackson and Mr. Lambert Jackson, under the sponsorship of Mr. Khalifa Al Mowaji, the Diwani Amiri to the ruler of Ajman.

Capt. Wilfred Jackson is a veteran from the Merchant Marine and Mr. Lambert Jackson is a qualified Ships Engineer. Together they form a professional team in the operation and management and chartering of vessel engaged in the Offshore Oil Industry for and from companies such Seabulk Offshore, a subsidiary of Hvide Marine USA, O.N.G.C - India, Hyundai Marine -S Korea, Occidental Petroleum- Qatar, NPCC, ADMA OPCO-Abu Dhabi, Valentine Marine –Abu Dhabi, Zakher Marine- Abu Dhabi, Saipem SPA-Milan, and various other giant oil corporations in the Arabian Gulf and Overseas.

Ajman Marine Services are owners, operators and charterers of supply vessels, tugs, barges and other marine equipment. The company own and operate Utility/Supply vessels, Ballastable Flat Top barges for jacket launching and tank barges. The latest addition to the fleet being a survey vessel, provides facilities and quality accommodation for Oceanographic surveys, which can also be used for Diving support/Utility purposes.

In the early days of its inception, Ajman Marine Services was engaged in many activities related to the marine industry, such as supplying Fresh Water to the US and British Naval ships calling off Ras Al Khaima, providing Officers and crew to many shipping companies and sourcing of ships spares at short notice through their associate companies in UK and Japan.

Other activities include the supply of:

- Fresh water to vessels at anchorage off the U.A.E. coast

- Highly professional and qualified officers and crew from supply vessels to U.L.C.C.'s

- Supply of ship spares from the U.K. and Japan at short notice through our network of associates companies

Originally starting as brokers in the industry, today they each have vessels of their own, and contribute together within the partnership. This energetic pair continues to be exceptionally active and efficient in the brokerage and ship management business.

Today the company owns Tugs, Barges and Supply vessel of their own and is reputed for the excellent maintenance and client relationship. The company has obtained the ISO 9001-2000 certification with vessels which are ISM and ISPS compliant.

The Company is looking towards upgrading the fleet with better and newer vessels. They acquired new vessel with 3500 BHP Anchor Handling Tug built in 2000.
